GT Cinetype, designed by Grilli Type
GT Cinetype by the Swiss-based foundry Grilli Type is a monospaced Typeface designed by Mauro Paolozzi and Rafael Koch, based on a design originally engineered for a cinema subtitling machine. This machine Used a laser to erase the film’s color layer, creating small, brilliantly white letters made entirely of straight lines, as the laser could not produce curves.
